I am fortunate to share some late-breaking news, sliding just under the year end deadline.
I have work appearing for the first time in two separate publications that each matter quite a bit to me.
My story “The Space Between the Lakes” appears in the latest issue of Cosmic Horror Monthly. This magazine features work from some astonishingly talented writers in a genre that has always interested me.
I tried to keep cosmic while grounding the story in familiar (to me, anyway) geography. I’m really thrilled to have placed this story with them.
I’m equally excited to have two poems appear today in Great Lakes Review. I’ve submitted work there for a couple of years, and this marks my first publication with them. Feels right, considering how much Michigan and its surroundings influence my writing.
Wherever you are, reading this or any of my published pieces, I hope you and yours are safe and happy. Thanks for being a part of my writing community.
