“The Anatomy of a Gun” available at The Rumen

My poem “The Anatomy of a Gun” was selected for publication by The Rumen.

This is a poem I’ve been picking at for a few years now, and is actually kinda’ sorta’ a part of a longer three-piece poem addressing gun violence.

They are a departure from my usual walking-outside-suburban-Michigan poems.

Everything is political, of course, from what we write about to what we choose to not write about, but this piece is more overt than most of the poetry I’ve published.
